After School Tutoring

LaAmistad after school tutoring for grades K – 8th meets Monday through Thursday during the school year and requires every student to attend every day. The students arrive at The Gym and Peachtree where they have snack and play time before they begin their homework. After their gym time, the students are lead to their classrooms where they meet their volunteers for tutoring. Students use this time to complete their homework, study for tests, and work on projects. All LaAmistad students are required to read for 30 minutes after their homework is completed. Afterwards, the students are free to play chess, assist other students with their homework, do arts and crafts projects, and attend their extracurricular activities.

LaAmistad Peachtree Presbyterian currently serves students from Warren T Jackson, Sarah Smith, Garden Hills, Highpoint, Sutton Middle School and North Atlanta High School.
