LaAmistad is an award winning nonprofit that mentors students, educates parents, and transforms families throughout the community. We provide after school programming to Latino students and families from Buckhead area elementary and middle schools. Our purpose is to increase participation in the community by achieving success in school, as families, and as community members. The program has operated since 2001 and is a 2-time winner (2004 & 2009) of the Atlanta Public Schools prestigious A+ Achievement Award.
LaAmistad is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Flat to gentle slopes through scenic residential Buckhead
REGISTRATION:
Run Day Registration: 8:00 AM
COST: $25 Pre-registration
$30 day of run
For 18 and under, $10 Pre-registration
$15 day of run
RUN START TIMES:
5K – 9:00 AM | 1K Fun Run – 9:45 AM
Tot Trot – 10:00 AM | (Rain or Shine)
Parking: Available on-site
Directions: From GA-400 N: Take Exit 2, Lenox Road. Turn left at top of ramp. In ½ mile, turn Right onto Piedmont Road. Take Piedmont to Habersham Road, and turn Left. Then make an immediate Left onto Roswell Road. The Gym at Peachtree will be on your right after approximately ¼ miles.
From GA-400 S: Take Exit 2, Lenox Road. Turn right at top of ramp. In ¼ mile, turn Right onto Piedmont Road. Take Piedmont to Habersham Road, and turn Left. Then make an immediate Left onto Roswell Road. The Gym at Peachtree will be on your right after approximately ¼ miles.
From I-285: Take Exit 25, Roswell Road. From exit, go south (inside the perimeter) on Roswell Road for 4.5 miles. The Gym at Peachtree will be on your right at 3434 Roswell Road.
Awards: Top overall Male & Female. Top 3 in each age group. Ribbons to all 1K Fun Run and Tot Trot finishers.
Proceeds benefit: LaAmistad Child, Youth and Family Programs. Make additional donations online or enclose with registration.
