- LaAmistad-Peachtree Presbyterian Church students live in the wealthiest area of Atlanta. 98% of these students live below the poverty line.
- The average LaAmistad parent has received only an elementary school education. LaAmistad provides classes and workshops to educate families.
- About half of Hispanic youth in the US drop out of high school. All LaAmistad students are expected to be college bound!
